Feb 6th: Cleveland, Ohio. Five-One Ensemble, Cleveland's premiere new music ensemble, will perform Learning to Stand(again.) Also premiered will be a new electronic work, Control, by the composer collective Multimode Filter (Michael Bratt, Jeremy Allen, and Mark Nowakowski.)

Fall 2009: Grusin Hall, University of Colorado. World Premiere of The Thomas Merton Songs, with Soprano Rebecca Arendt and friends. Marcin Arendt (the violinist on Blood, Forgotten) will also play in the ensemble.


Lunar Saxophone Quartet, London, UK. Premiere of Whippersnapper (Date TBA.)


Indie Spirit Film Festival, Colorado Springs. Premiere screening of The Weekend Crew, to which Mark recently composed the soundtrack. (Director Clint Wehling.)


Voxare String Quartet, New York, NY. Premiere of Quintet No. 1 for Clarinet, Piano, Violin, Viola, and Violoncello. (Official premiere date still TBA.)


Loskoff Piano Duo. European premiere of Travelogue (Summer 2009, Dates TBA.)
